Ub n Zahra

Everyday.. I get different antics from Zahra n Ub .. During d drive to and fro to work... On gd days both will behave well.. N when I'm unlucky I have to endure Zahra's cries throughout d drive... It may b cruel.. But I can't help it... She needs some getting use to.. When she's used to it then come days where she's absent from school and have to stay home with d grandma or nenek.. Then d cycle starts again! For Ub's case... He is so curious he'll start touching and taking out things in d car...

Well I just have to tahan...

Zahra's asleep so now it's time for me to spend wif Ub.. We'll talk abt sch.. Or jus abt anything...

Sometimes during our convo.. He doesn't seem like a 3 yr old.. He seems older... He's growing fast.. Too fast sometimes.. Soon it's gonna b Zahra's turn.. Jus a few mths ago she's d 4.8kg bb who jus came out of me.. Now she's standing on her own trying to balance...

Hmmm too fast!!! Soon they'll b welcoming another member to d family... Insya Allah a baby boy!!

For now let me enjoy my time with them to d fullest...

Driving Mum Around

I finally passed my driving n have been driving for almost 3mths since June.. I was elated that I passed coz I can drive to work n drive anyone ard!!

First drive was tough but I guess u have to drive frequently to get use to it..

Today.. I'll b driving mama ard.. Since d men r on night shifts we r goin visitin on our own!! Yeah!! Jus me Zahra Mama n Dada!!

After d long hiatus...

Had been a while right.. Both Zahra n Ub r growing up pretty well.. Syukur alhamdulilah I'm coping well too with help from my family.. In laws n of coz my darling husband...
N guess what in 4 mths time.. We'll have another bb joining the Mokhsen's family.. Yes we r expecting a boy!!:)

Growing up kids

Zahra's three mths today!!
She is an easy baby now compared to her 1st mth.. She was a terror!! I njoy bringing her out for walks.. Window shoppings.. She jus watch n keep quiet..d only troublesome thing is when she poo.. It will leak and it's hard to wash her hhahahaha..
At 3 mths these r her milestones
•drinks 150ml of mamex slowly(ayah says she's like ibu.. Njoying her milk)
•lift her head (she'll do this repeatedly when she wants to b carried or when she's tilted up)
•cooed.. Smile.. Laughed and respond when talked to
•and is trying to turn herself over
She is one gungho gal!! But can b Lembik sometimes.. Ayah said that lembik trait comes from me.. Hahahaha

Well now d abang..



He is 3 n a mth now.. A gd bro to zahra.. Always smothers her with kisses.. But sometimes wants attention n starts to misbehave.. He likes to make friends.. Be it adults or kids his age or older.. He has no patience hahah that is like d ayah n like me he'll whine n whine till we give in to him.. He speaks Malay n English.. N a fair bit of mandarin... I like that he'll ask things in English and ask us to translate it to Malay or vice versa.. He'll ask meaning of words and the translation of it.. Of yeah he speaks a bit of philipines too.. He loves to play with water!! N his transportations at home.. Scooter.. Bike.. Bicycle.. Car.. He is very spoiled by d in laws.. Mayb coz he's d only grandson n also coz they looked after him since he was 4mths..

So updates abt me.. Starting work in less than 3 wks.. Learning to drive again.. Nd to pass my tp so that I can drive to work with my kids.. I m proud that this time round I'm more
Hands on with zahra n I m almost 100% mother of 2... It ain't easy.. But Im coping:))

Family time is very important...
I remember when I was young...
Every wkend papa would asks us where we wanna go.. N he'll bring us to wherever we requested to..

So now... D baton has passed to me..I wan to spend time n bring my kids to whever they wan to go.. So far we had been to vivo.. Let ub play with water.. N I think I got to plan more stuffs to explore...

Life n death

Sen's grandma passed away today..Semoga Allah mencucuri rohnya Dan tempatkannya di antara org2 yg beriman.. Amin

From d time auntie called to convey d message till now.. Memories of d time Nenek passed away played in my mind.. Again n again like a repeat telecast show.. How I spent time wif her before she left.. How I took time to shower her.. Keep calling out softly to her .. Coz to me she looks like she's just sleeping.. Not gone.. But d fact is.. Reality is.. She has gone .. Allah loves her..

It's two yrs since she's gone.. But it still feels like yesterday .. She stroked my hair when I told her I had fever.. When she held my hand n not let go.. When she called to ask me what I'm doing n if I'm fine...I still remember that lil tiny hole on her forehead that I would look for wheever we have our 'carik uban' session.. N we would laugh as we talk abt it..

Nenek.. I miss u..

Temp. SAHM

Njoying my maternity leave now n I have d first hand experience of being a SAHM.. It ain't easy boy.. My routine would b as follows:-
Wake up
Prepare Ub for sch
Send him off to sch
Load dirty clothes n run washin machine
Cook while eaitng for clothes to wash
Hang clothes
Collate d dry ones
Fold and keep d clean clothes

And all this while juggling feeding Zahra.. Making her sleep.. Have my lunch.. Preparing lunch for d Ayah n having conversations with him..

Ayah's on semi perm night shift till I pass my driving so that he can send Ub to sch.. So watever time he has before he sleeps if quality time... He is a great help.. N I'm thankful to Allah for blessing me with a great other half.. Understanding,helpful n ever so forgiving..



Ub can b very trying at times.. Trying d soft n hard approach on him now.. It's tiring but we got to handle it.. Coz how d child behaves it reflects on d parents.. He has so many backers.. So I guess we have to b firm in this..



Jus got v upset with Ub.. Had been coughing.. Told everyone to refrain from giving him sweets.. That failed!! He insisted n threw a fit .. A major temper.. Hid n finished d whole pack.. So upset but.. Wat is done cannot b undone.. N jus now he coughed n coughed n threw up on d bed..was so upset with him.. Smacked him n sent him to d kitchen.. Asked him to stay there n don move till I ask him to.. He cried.. Saying he wans ibu.. I was sad that I had to punish him this way but I'm so angry coz he refuse to listen n wan things his way.. Wasn't being d ece train person here jus now.. Cleaned up.. Took out all d sweets n cold drinks n told him to finish it to which he answered he'll cough more.. Tau takpe!! Let him cry a bit more.. Cleaned him n got him to dress himself.. Ain't gonna help coz he can do it on his own in sch.. He did it.. Hugged n told him that i scolded him not bcoz I don love him.. I love him so much that's y I scolded him... I cried coz I was really sad .. Sad that I had to punish him that way.. I don wan it to b jus bcoz he's a brother now I'm harsh on him..:(hmmm parenthood...

As for Zahra .. She's all right.. Clingy to me.. Loves to b carried.. Sleeps Longer in daytime.. Wakes up 3 times at night for her feeds.. She looks so much like d Ayah.. It's only fair la kan..



So there my adventures of a temp. SAHM..

Dayout with Zahra Ub n Ayah

I self declared that I've ended my confinement.. After month!! Happy 1st month Zahra!!

N so wat did we do today? Go out lar of coZ!

Ayah had been wirkin extremely hard for us n so he took d day off n we spent it at vivo.. Went to mothercare..harbourfront.. To spend our vouchers.. Wanted to try out d pnt vibe but they don have it there n d normal pnt was kinda heavy.. So bought some stroller stuffs for zahra n off to vivo.. B4 we went out I realised that zahra does not have any pretty clothes .. Went Zara but nothing caught my eyes.. It was crowded so had late lunch n let Ub to cool down at d play area.. He enjoyed himself.. Gonna have more of these.. Family times..





Walked abit to mothercare.. To get a new bjorn coz d current one's worn out n we decided to give it to abg mam..
Grabbed some clothes for Zahra..
Then waited for Ub to have his fun.. Had to rush him as Ayah hadn't had his zuhur prayers n it was nearing asar..
Washed n changed him n rush to masjid temenggong..
Tot of meeting Nana @Taka coz wanna recce Burberry for abg n adik.. But d tot of crowd n expensive parking charges made me gave up that tot..
Cik Lala called to say that she n fam r coming to visit mama.. Bought some food n Cik ya's decided to come as well.. In
D end all d gagak hitams came!! Haha

D night ended at almost midnite.. Though tired .. We njoyed ourselves very much!! Looking fwd to more family outings!!

While lazing ard.. Cuddling.. My 3 yr old says "ibu u r cute sangat" which I replied "really!! Thk u!!" then he added.."cute sangat like d sumo wrestler" urgh then it hit me.. He is saying I m fat but in a nice polite way... Dang!!

Smsed his ayah n he replied "u mean u dunno?"
Alamak ni lagi satu.. Geram!!

Midday activity

N so we went for our midday activity.. Ub cycle ard d void deck.. Zahra n me jus sat chillin.. Njoyin d breeze.. After 45 mins we wen home coz ub have yet to take his shower n his lunch.. Home.. Showered ub.. Fed him his lunch... N Waited for ayah to come back from masjid.. N after all that we took a 3 hr nap.. The whole family ahhah.. Ub might b going to smil's place..i think they mus have miss him very much..he hadn't been to their place for 2 wks already.. I kinda like this sahm role ... N m trying to get in d routine..of having 2 kids.. Mama n nana r always there to help when I needed any..
Zahra n Ub.. Totally diff.. I remember ub.. Can sit his maxi cosi n jus watch me quietly.. Zahra hehe will b gd if she can sit for 10 mins haha but I'm fine.. I'm gettin to know more abt zahra.. Learning more about this fiesty lil gal..day by day.. We'll get along jus fine baby!!
